A Message from the Sjögren's Syndrome Foundation

At the Sjögren's Syndrome Foundation (SSF), we recognize how Sjögren's syndrome and its symptoms can affect people's lives--not only patients but also the family and friends who are around them. We are committed to providing much needed support and information to the millions suffering from this disease.

Although it is one of the most prevalent autoimmune diseases, Sjögren's syndrome remains widely unknown and misunderstood. We are passionate about increasing public and professional awareness of Sjögren's syndrome and encouraging research into new treatments and a cure.

Founded in 1983, the SSF provides patients practical information and coping strategies that minimize the effects of Sjögren's syndrome. The Foundation is also the clearinghouse for medical information and is the recognized national advocate for Sjögren's syndrome.

We understand patients need for additional resources for Sjögren's syndrome education and information and that is why we are pleased that www.mydrymouth.com has been created. We encourage you to explore the site and join their Moisture Network. We also encourage you to learn more about the SSF and all that we have to offer by visiting our site at www.sjogrens.org.
